Lunarpages is so well-known (yes, it’s almost like Gucci and Prada in fashion) and yet, their hosting plan is one of the cheapest in the market. They are offering so much features in their basic hosting plan that I think it shouldn’t be called as ‘basic’; and yet, it’s just $6.95 $4.95 (price after offer) per month. Compare with other top class hosting companies (BlueHost’s $6.95, HostMonster’s $6.95, Hostgator’s $7.95) - they are simply the web host with best bargain.
Further more, you’ll get free bonuses (software & web applications) worth $775 if you pre-signup for at least one year.
Extremely positive customer feedbacks
I never seen any web hosting company that comes close to Lunarpages with positive customer feedbacks. Apparently, they know how to serve their customer right and people just can’t resist to get online and say good things about them.

Potential drawback in Lunarpages
I’ve been using Lunarpages for about two years (for my brother’s blog and a few charity projects) and I’m extermely happy with them.
The only potential drawback in their service I can see is that the company does not offer ‘Awstats’ in their web analytic features. While Astats are not used by many webmasters, the web analytic software remains popular in certain industry. However, this problem can be solved easily by using Google Analytics instead. Google Analytics is capable for more accurate and detail webstats, more user friendly, and best of all it’s free.

Efficient customer supports! When I first sign up the service 3 years back, the first impressions I get is friendly. This was because I had some questions that time and was communicating with them through email. They are friendly and helpful. I did experience 2 or 3 down time with Lunarpages. But generally they are still reliable to me as they took the least time in recovering the server. They are cheapest in the market now. Just google and you will see. No problems with LunarPages for me! I have had sites with LunarPages since 2002 and have never had any issues. When I was desperate for tech support, they were extremely helpful. I am a computer professional, but occasionally make mistakes. I certainly wouldn’t blame LunarPages for my mistakes and my lack of knowledge. There is a ton of knowledge on their forums and the tutorials can help the newbie with most tasks. I think too many people just like to complain instead of looking for a solution and want their hand held. One of my sites is a non-profit organization and we count on our website for about 1/2 of our income. Our customers have never complained that their purchases couldn’t be processed, and believe me I would hear about it. Conclusion: Is Lunarpages recommended?
Lunarpages is one of my favourite hosting companies. I like the honest way they do business and I am extremely happy with their customer supports. As said, the potential drawbacks of Lunarpages is lack of Awstats but the problem can be easily solved with Google Analytics.
All in all, Lunarpage is highly recommended and I urge you to check out them if you’re shopping for web hosting.
