Joe, thanks for your input about Startlogic. I'm sure it helps undecided readers to rethink about going with Startlogic.

I review Startlogic service based on my experience - the password-change process work out smooth for me thus I wrote good words about them.

I am sorry to learn about your unhappy story with Starlogic. Unable to access your hosting account for one week is definitely unacceptable. I'm not sure why this is happening but apparently the support system at Startlogic fail to handle such 'non-standard' situation efficiently.

I have to disagree. Startlogic is NOT doing good. I had my password reset in their security reset. Coincidentally, I changed ISPs so my email changed and the address startlogic has on file is not valid (password could not be e-mailed). Also in this day of credit card fraud, the card I used to pay my account had to be changed due to a bank security compromise (they would not verify my identity over the phone).

They had me fax a copy of my drivers license and some domain/user name info to them and said I would be e-mailed a new password in 24 hours. It's been a week now and I still can't access my account. I've called them each of the last 4 days and they keep giving me the run around "someone will contact you tomorrow sir", they say this everyday. I've asked to speak with a supervisor and was told that this was just a call center and the supervisor would not be able to help. They said there was nobody I could talk to to get my problem fixed today, I would just have to wait. How long does it take to reset a password and send an e-mail?

I informed them that if the problem was not fixed by tomorrow I will be moving to a different web host. Of course they didn't care, they're just a sourced call center.
