I apologize for not bringing this out earlier – Lunarpages price structures were changed (quietly!). The original $4.95/mo hosting plan is only available for the 60 months plan.
New Lunarpages Price Tag
Table below indicates the new price tag for Lunarpages Basic Hosting Plan.
| LP Basic | 3 Mo | 6 Mo | 12 Mo | 24 Mo | 60 Mo |
| 3 months plan | $10.95/mo | $9.95/mo | $8.95/mo | $6.95/mo | $4.95/mo |
What I think about Lunarpages now

I feel sad to be negative with Lunarpages (I used to love them a lot!) but the 60 month plan promotion with 30 days of refund trial is just simply ridiculous.
I strongly advise you DO NOT get into such deal. Also, I heard rumors that they are testing and planning to switch from cPanel to that in-house control panel – which sounds like another bad move to me. The only good thing I see is that their server is still very reliable and their uptime record for me is nothing but superb.
Seeing the fact that Luanrpages do not provide live chat support and now offer a much higher price hosting plan, I do not think Lunarpages is giving the best. I’m lowering their rating (and de-listing them as my Best Multi Domain Hosting); in case you want a cheap reliable web host, I suggest you just go somewhere else.

I agree with you mate, the price is ridiculous. Last year I still pay for $7 for 1 years hosting, now increase to $8.98. With this high cost, Lunarpage still have low quality on customer support.
What a shame.
@Ruri: Exactly! It’s just NOT COOL to change your price structure without informing your existing customer properly.

I have a number of clients hosted with lunarpages but their sudden and unannounced price increases are nothing more than gouging. I’m disgusted but not really surprised – aren’t most companies like this deep down?
I’m currently looking for an alternate host provider if anyone can suggest one….
