iPage used to be a web solution provider that offer one-stop solution to those who need web design, website development, and hosting services. The company went inactive for years and were relaunched October 2009. The new iPage is now leaded by a brand new management and provides everything you need to start a website. This includes web hosting, website mangement, email hosting, domain registration, e-commerce services, website scripting, as well as web marketing.

I was lucky enough to get in touch with one of the top management in iPage and manage to get a free account for review purpose. And so far from what I see, everything is working perfect at iPage. Server is stable and loading fast, customer support are answering the chat request, and I’m very happy with the addon features I am seeing. It’s worth noting that iPage provides a huge list of addon services that will save you some money.
What’s good about iPage?
Anytime Money-Back Guarantee
A huge advantage of iPage is their ‘Anytime Money-Back Guarantee’. If you are familiar with the hosting industry, you should knew that majority hosting services only allow 30 – 45 days trial period. But with iPage, you can claim a full or pro-rated refund when you cancel your account anytime during the subscription period.
In other words, you have no risk at all when subscribe to iPage. Anytime when you find something you dislike with their service, you can simply cancel off your hosting account and ask for a refund. Now how good is that!
iPage – Hosting since year 1998
Without doubt, iPage is extremely new compare to other hosting companies. However, do not let their newness put you off! The hosting company is lead by a group of industry veteran and I would expect nothing less than ‘excellent’ from these people. I know this might sound a little biased but you have to understand that one of the top men behind iPage Hosting is Paul Bukhovko. I’d known Paul for some time and I’m absolutely confident with his ability to develop a great hosting company.

What might goes wrong with iPage?
Besides being new, I don’t see any obvious disadvantage with iPage so far. I will be checking on their performance closely for the next few months and let y’all know if there’s anything no right with the new web host.

Conclusion: Is iPage Recommended?
Well, I have to admit that I have really good feeling with what I’m seeing now. So far the site hosted at iPage is operating smoothly and I don’t see why you should go with other web hosts that provide the same thing with a higher price. Yes, they are relative new but hey – don’t forget that all iPage users are protected by the Anytime Money-Back Guarantee.
So yes, I believe iPage hosting is a GO and it’s especially good for those who are looking for an affordable hosting service.
