I am really interested in the hostgator. I am from Asia (Myanmar/Burma) and currently running a Myanmar information blog using wordpress. It is on a shared hosting plan. My site is gaining popularity and sooner or later, it will outgrow the shared hosting plan. So the next step would be to VPS. Unfortunately, hostgator does not offer the VPS solution. It only provides the dedicated server. From shared to dedicated is like jumping from the bottom step to the top step (both price and expertise). Too bad that they don't have the middle step for the customers. I might force some of their customers (as well as potential customers like me) who want something more than shared hosting, but cannot afford the expensive dedicated server. If Hostgator had a VPS solution, I would be the first to choose their VPS.

Both are good provider. There are so many features that are really great. But if I were to choose, I'll go with Hostgator too. Cheaper but reliable. Plus more better features.
