Very good info set in a logical step by step order and easy to follow. I already started WP blog and I need to find out more about plugins and other extras for SEO so your guide is useful to find all these info.

@David: I am not sure what you meant by “had made a wordpress on localhost” – did you wrote your post in local host? Or it’s just the design (templates)?

If it’s the post/page then you’ll need the ‘Import’ feature in WP; for custom templates, you’ll need to upload it to the themes folder (normally located at wp-content/themes/).

How would I do this if I had made a wordpress on localhost, then want to upload that site to my server? I picked a wordpress hosting package, so all the files are already in there. Do I simply overwrite them all? or should i delete them all, so my hosting is completely empty? the upload?

I always test my theme on localhost.
kinda good to use it to experiments with new hack and tweaks
