That changed quickly as the company grew and progressed over time. In 2005 AN Hosting was acquired by midPhase, and now collectivly hosting over 150,000 domain names on a network of over 1,000 servers supported by true 24/7 phone, E-mail and live chat tech support.

Is AN Hosting a good web hosting?
AN Hosting is an average web hosting – good or bad, there’s nothing much I can talk about them. AN Hosting plan (offering 500GB disk space + 5,000GB bandwidth) with $6.95/mo seems fairly priced, their 24/7 customer supports is doing okay, and the hosting features (with Fantastico and Site Builder) are much like other hosting services.
Perhaps one good thing to talk about AN Hosting is that I rarely found any serious complaints on them online; which I think it’s most probably because of their their honest-way of doing business. No boombastic marketing ploys, hidden fees, unrealistic promises – what you see is what you get.

Any disadvantages with AN Hosting?
The biggest problem with AN Hosting is that they do not provide any auto-script installation like Fantastico and Simple Scripts. There are also little eCommerce features added in their hosting features. This is H-U-G-E issue as installing CMS and eCommerce software might take hours of hard work without such supports.
More over, AN Hosting offers 500GB disk space, 5,000GB bandwidth, 19 addon domains, and 2,000 FTP accounts with $6.95/mo. Nothing’s wrong with that, until you see BlueHost and HostMonster are offering unlimited addon domains/FTP accont/disk space/bandwidth in the same price! When compare to other hosting services, AN Hosting seems a little pricy. Anyhow, 19 addon domains (with 500GB storage spacee and 5,000GB bandwidth) seems pretty much already.

Conclusion: An Hosting is overpriced!
500/5,000GB of disk space/bandwidth, limited FTP access, limited addon domains – AN Hosting features are not as good as most of the hosting companies and their price is not cheap. AN Hosting is pricy and offer limited hosting features. Avoid AN hosting account specially if you plan to run multiple websites on the same hosting account, they only offer 19 addon domains!
